After growing up in Minnesota, Milwaukee has been Mark’s home since 2006. His journey into the world of finance and financial planning began while pursuing a degree in marketing from Augsburg University in Minneapolis. During his college years, Mark worked as a line inspector at the Ford assembly plant in Saint Paul, where he learned the value of hard work and building connections. This experience ignited a desire within him to help others – regardless of their background or ability – achieve the future they want.
For a decade, Mark honed his skills as an Investment Advisor for Thrivent Financial, acquiring extensive experience and knowledge about the financial landscape. It was during this time that he partnered with Drew to create Milborn Advisors, driven by a shared vision to offer something different for their clients and to prioritize transparency in the process.
When he’s not helping others navigate their financial journeys, Mark enjoys golf, live music, and raising his two amazing kids. His commitment to his clients and his community is evident through his involvement as a Board of Directors member for Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin.
